Alan Sandler
President

Mr.Sandler was Co-founder, Director and Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Justice Telecom, a facilities-based international telecommunications carrier that was ranked the fastest growing private company in America by Inc. Magazine in 1998. During Mr. Sandler’s tenure at Justice he was responsible for increasing revenues from $205,000 in 1993 to just over $88 million in 1998. Mr. Sandler is also a co-founding shareholder of Telepacific, a GE Capital - Investcorp funded competitive local exchange carrier, based in Los Angeles. In 2007, Telepacific was ranked 39th on Inc. Magazine’s 2007 “Fastest Growing Private Companies in America. Mr. Sandler was a Director and Senior Vice President, Sales and Business Development for Rotor Communications Corporation. Rotor built the first network that supported live, large-scale, two-way events on the Internet, based on proprietary application and networking technology. He is a non-active member of the California Bar and attended Law School at the University of San Diego and College at the University of California at San Diego. Mr. Sandler currently acts as Founder and Managing Partner of Sandler Partners, www.sandlerpartners.com, CEO of www.loopandport.com, CEO of www.telecomlasvegas.com, and serves as a director with www.mitrait.com. He is a strategic advisor to several telecommunication carriers and is an expert at enabling companies around the world to meet their voice and date requirements, with the redundancy, quality, price and service necessary to calmly and efficiently handle their networks.

Bret Masterson
Senior Partner, Business Development

Mr. Masterson has extensive expertise in helping companies design and roll out new business initiatives, cut costs, and improve operating efficiencies. Mr. Masterson, previously a consultant with McKinsey & Co. and LEK Consulting has worked extensively with firms ranging in size from Fortune 500 to pre-funded start-ups. At McKinsey & Co., Bret developed an innovative approach to analyze and reduce costs on purchased services and goods, which allowed the initial client to save over $300 million in costs after complete program rollout. At LEK Consulting, Bret helped lead the Media and Entertainment practice. Bret has worked with numerous companies to use new technologies to both cut costs as well as expand into exciting new business areas. Additionally, Bret has also done consulting work with international organizations, such as the World Bank, were he conducted a study of the Mozambique industrial sector for the Ministers of Finance and Industry, and recommended policy changes to revitalize growth. Seminal project work was used by the World Bank to help analyze other countries with similar industrial sector issues. Bret has an MBA from Stanford, and attended the University of Washington as an undergraduate.

Gregory O Welch
Senior Partner Retail Negotiation Strategies

Mr. Welch has eleven years of retail and wholesale management experience in the long distance telecom industry, both as an owner/operator and as a business development executive. Mr. Welch was previously Executive Vice President of Sirius Telecom, a switching services provider based in Los Angeles, where he was responsible for business development, and Executive Vice President of Q Telecom, an international wholesale carrier based in Los Angeles, where he initiated more than 25 new carrier relationships and helped build sales to $12 million. Previously, he was CEO, President and Co-Founder of AmeriCom Communications, Inc., a $36 million long distance reseller specializing in international services. Mr. Welch was also Director of America’s Choice Long Distance, a subsidiary of General Electric, and helped build the West Coast operations for ALNET, before it was sold to Frontier and ultimately to Global Crossings. Mr. Welch holds a BA from the University of Missouri Columbia.

Steven Levine
Senior Partner International Operator Services

Mr. Levine has served as Senior Partner of Sandler Partners since its inception specializing in International Operator Services. Mr. Levine also serves as President of Mission Communications and has done so since 1997. Prior to Mission, Mr. Levine served as VP of Justice Operator Services for Justice Technology. Prior to entering the telecommunications field Mr. Levine served as VP of Business Development for Premier Promotions an entertainment and promotions company based in San Diego, CA. Mr. Levine received his BS in Business Administration from SUNY Buffalo.
